Some of my most vivid memories are the sights and smells of cooking and baking from my childhood. The aroma of molasses from an old cookie recipe, the sight of a towering apple pie cooling on the counter, and the anticipation of my grandmother’s arrival from Connecticut to Upstate New York each Thanksgiving. She would exit the Greyhound bus, her hands wrapped tightly around the cake carrier, holding her traditional applesauce cake that she had baked from scratch. There were no store-bought pies or packages of cookies, except perhaps an occasional Oreo, and I have carried on her baking legacy for years.

Today, I am honored to bring that same tradition to my neighbors here in the Houston area. I find immense joy in witnessing the delight on people’s faces when they savor freshly baked treats. Whether it’s the sight and taste of a Quad-Cherry pie, the warmth of a chocolate chip cookie, the buttery goodness of banana-nut bread, or the anticipation of a custom cake being unveiled, these moments bring me immense happiness. I am delighted to share them with you, one bite at a time.
